District Message

Welcome to Petrolia Consolidated Independent School District TxConnect Parent Portal site. We trust that you will find this site helpful as you assist your child with their educational progress. To begin using this site you will need your child's unique student identifier number from the campus letter you received in the mail. Once you have received this number, you may begin the three easy steps to setting up your account. Please be advised that if you should forget your password, you will have to use the password recovery wizard in the lower left hand corner of this site. The school does not have record of or access to your password information. Do not forget to use the alerts tab to customize the alerts for your individual needs. You can always link directly to the parent portal from the district web site on the right side. Visit us as http://www.petroliacisd.org. Teachers post daily assignment and test grades throughout the week and by the end of day the following Monday. Please allow 24 hours for the system to update. All updated grades should be posted by Tuesday of each week. It is important to email or phone your child's teacher if you have questions or concerns. As the six weeks period is in progress, your child's daily grades may be viewed on the parent portal. After final grades are posted at the end of a six week period, only the final grade will be shown. Please remember that all absences are unexcused until a parent or doctor's note is received in the office. Parents may also call the office on the day of a student's absence. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the system to update your child's absence from unexcused to excused. We are excited to offer this service to you. We trust you will find it useful as you assist your child in achieving his/her educational goals.


ATTN PARENTS:  If you provided an email address on your TxConnect account, please verify that your email address was entered correctly.  This will ensure that you receive your subscribed email alerts for your children as well as the alerts that appear within TxConnect. You will also need to give your email address to the office so they can enter it into your students information.  Your email address is located on the "My Account" tab in TxConnect.  Please review the email address that you entered.  If incorrect, please edit/change then save and inform the office of the change.  Thank you for checking.


NEW!!!!!  We have started online registration.  You will need to enroll students through the TxConnect.  You will need their parent portal ID.  You will also need to let the secretary know what email address you have linked to the portal.  It must match on the portal and in our system before it will work.  If you have any questions, please call the campus your child attends.  Thank You
